About Clyde Malloy

I was born and raised in a small town in rural North Carolina. I attended East Carolina University where I obtained a BS degree in Political Science. I briefly worked at a marketing firm and later as a substitute teacher. I later moved to Ft. Lauderdale where I worked for the Broward County Sheriff's Department for two years. While in Ft. Lauderdale, I met my wife, Bobbie. We relocated to San Jose, California to be near her family. After moving to California, I was employed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety as a public safety officer. Public safety officers in Sunnyvale are trained as professional police officers and professional fire fighters. While employed with the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, I was assigned to the investigations division. I specialized in investigating property crimes, high tech crimes, trade secrets cases, intellectual property crimes, white collar crimes, grand thefts, and commercial burglaries. My wife and I moved to the Ormond Beach approximately ten years ago. We fell in love with the natural beauty of the area and the wonderful people of the community. After moving to the area, I began rehabilitating distressed properties; transforming a property which had once brought down the neighborhood into a beautiful home for a new family.
